How secure is my client data base?

Your data base is protected by Australian Laws as well as our own high level security systems. This means that no one can use your data base without your permission. This is why companies such as  Norris Hair and Australian Hairdressers Journal trust us to store their data bases on our secure servers. Security is second to none with dual servers and backups in two different Australian cities.

Will my clients get spammed?

Our system is fully compliant with Australian privacy laws. Every email sent from our system has an unsubscribe link at the foot. Your clients have opted in but if they click on the unsubscribe link, the system automatically stops any more emails going to them. We also reccommend that you limit email promotions to no more than 12 per year to each recipient. Our research has shown that more frequently than this affects open rates. The entire philosophy of our marketing system is to ensure open rates are as high as possible, so that more people will read your emails and act on them. Our research and experience will help you to maximise open rates and increase sales and customer loyalty.

Can I install SalonConnect on my own computer?

SalonConnect is hosted on our servers, so that we can manage your marketing for you, but you will be given a user name and password to login if you wish. Being an online, hosted system means that there is no expensive software to buy, no installation fees, no complex training and no contracts to sign. It also means that it is fully supported, maintained and updated as part of the service for no extra cost.

What if I decide to stop using SalonConnect?

There is no obligation to continue using SalonConnect after the initial six month campaign and there are no penalties for opting out.

What if I don’t have a current email data base?

We supply electronic and paper based registration forms to collect client information. We also supply tips on the best way to ask for email addresses. We will send this information and the forms for free as soon as you become a client. You can also keep adding clients with email address as you grow. We then load them into SalonConnect for you as part of the service on a regular basis.

What if I have my client details in a salon management software program in my salon?

We can show you how easy it is to export client details from all of the major salon software programs such as Shortcuts, Salon Potential, Hairware and others. Once the details are exported, the file can be emailed to us and we do the rest for you.

What sort of promotions will you do for me?

All of our promotions have been written and designed by experienced advertising professionals to fit in with special events such as Mother’s day and seasonal messages. All of the content is written by our professional writers and comes with relevant, high quality photos. You can also supply us with your own photos.

Can I use SalonConnect with my website?

Yes, SalonConnect is designed to integrate with any website. We create links in the email promotion to any page on your website, to educate your clients and stimulate extra sales and activity.

What if I don’t have a website?

We can provide low cost, highly effective websites. We recommend using a combination of website and email marketing for the best results. This way you can use the emails to bring clients back into your website to view extra information on your services and products. Ask about our unique website/emarketing package.
